You can choose among the well known brands listed below. Need glasses ASAP ? We do have an on site lab and are able to fill a wide range of prescriptions the same day. Please note that progressives and more complex prescriptions take additional time. There has been a lot of innovation and improvement in the lens technology lately. Not all lenses are created equal and that accounts for the variability in pricing between different opticals. At Brunner Eye Care we have made a decision that we will always offer our patients the most technologically advanced progressives, single vision lenses, antireflective coatings, transitions etc. It is our job to ensure our patients get the clearest vision possible and lens technology plays a big part in the clarity of vision. We only fit and dispense the lenses we ourselves would wear. Note: We are proud to note that we have very few patients in our office that cannot adapt to the progressives. My own journey with vision started when I was just 8 years old when I got my first pair of glasses. I didn’t even realize I had a vision problem until I put them on. Suddenly, the world looked… clear. Vivid. Crisp. I could see the leaves on the trees, read signs from a distance, and recognize faces without squinting. It was a life-changing experience. That moment planted a seed in me, one that eventually grew into a lifelong passion for helping others experience the gift of clear sight. At 18, I moved from Serbia to the U.S. as an exchange student and later earned my degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Rutgers University, graduating with honors. I briefly considered microbiology, but quickly realized I was much more passionate about people than petri dishes. That led me to SUNY College of Optometry, where I graduated with honors in 2008—and where my journey as an optometrist truly began. Few things make me happier than seeing a patient’s face light up when they try on their new glasses or contact lenses for the first time. Whether it’s a child who didn’t realize they couldn’t see the board, or an adult rediscovering the beauty of crisp vision, that moment of joy is always special. I feel lucky to experience it over and over again. I work with patients of all ages, and I’m especially passionate about myopia management, multifocal contact lenses, and the incredible advancements in lens technology. The glasses and contacts available today are a world apart from the ones I wore as a child. From blue light filtering lenses to ultra-comfortable spherical, toric, and multifocal contacts—today’s technology is amazing. I love hearing patients say, “It’s like HD vision!” That never gets old. Outside of the exam room, I enjoy traveling, exploring new cultures and cuisines, and spending time with my husband and two daughters—one in high school, the other in 5th grade, who proudly wears MiSight lenses for myopia control.
